Railroad Lines Clearance

Lowest wire point where span crosses a railroad. NESC: min 23.5′ over railroad.

Attachment Violations

Pole Attribute

Distance to next attachment and violation status delivered as utility pole layer attributes.

Vegetation Buffer

LiDAR + Pole Attr.

Vegetation classified point cloud data within a specified buffer distance of utility equipment. Adds 2% to quote.

    • Road Clearance: 3D point where wires cross a road. NESC standard: wire must be at least 15.5' over roads accessible by trucks.

    • Railroad Lines Clearance: 3D point where wires cross a railroad. NESC standard: wire must be at least 23.5' over railroad.

    • Attachment Violations: Delivered as attributes on the utility pole layer. Includes distance to next attachment and violation flag. Sub-options: Custom distances or NESC standard distances.

    • Vegetation Buffer: Classified vegetation point cloud data within a specified buffer distance of utility equipment. Optional attribute for pole presence.
