What Automate is
Automate is the AirWorks web application at http://cloud.airworks.io . It is the single place you set up projects, order deliverables, track progress, and get your data back.
It runs in the browser. There is nothing to install.
Older documentation, videos, and emails may refer to Automate as "the AirWorks web app" or "the AirWorks app." Same product.
What you can do in Automate

Set up projects and define the exact area you want processed

Bring your own data, or order imagery through the AirWorks data marketplace if you do not have any

Build an estimate and see what a scope will cost before you commit to it

Order products, bundles, and add-ons from the AirWorks product catalog

Track order status from submission through delivery

Review your results in the AirWorks Project Viewer alongside your source imagery and point cloud

Take measurements directly against delivered linework

Download CAD and GIS outputs in the formats your team works in

Manage your account — users, CAD settings, order history, and past deliverables
Completed projects stay in your account indefinitely. Nothing is removed unless you delete it, so past work remains available for reference and re-download.
How a project moves through Automate

Create a project. A project is the container. One project can hold multiple orders over time.

Add your data. Upload orthomosaic imagery, a colorized point cloud, or scan data — or request imagery through the data marketplace. Check Input Data Requirements before you capture or upload anything; most delays trace back to input data that does not meet the minimum criteria.

Define the processing area. Draw or upload the boundary for the area you want extracted. This drives what you are charged for.

Choose what you want extracted. Select a bundle or individual products, then layer on add-ons and output formats.

Review the estimate and submit the order. Nothing starts processing until an order is submitted. Uploading data alone does not begin work.

AirWorks processes the order. AI extraction runs first, followed by a human quality-control pass on standard products.

Delivery. You get an in-app notification and an email. Open the project to review results in the Project Viewer, measure against them, and download your files.
What Automate does not do

Automate is not a CAD editor. It is where you order, review, measure, and download. Drafting and design happen in your own tools.

Automate does not replace your GIS or document management system. It is the source of the deliverable, not a long-term system of record for your project files.

Automate does not start work on data you have not ordered against. An upload is not an order.
