Why does AirWorks use Esri?
Esri's ArcGIS platform is one of the most widely adopted GIS technologies in industries AirWorks serves, including telecom, utilities, and AEC. Many of our customers already use Esri tools internally, so building our viewing experience on the same technology means:

How does AirWorks integrate with Esri?
AirWorks delivers completed projects as Esri-compatible layers — including feature layers, imagery, point clouds, and geodatabases — so they can be viewed natively in our Project Viewer or, for customers with their own Esri environment, brought directly into their existing ArcGIS setup.
Deliverables are also available in common GIS export formats for customers who work outside Esri, including:

Can customers with their own Esri environment use their existing setup?
Yes. Customers who already run Esri/ArcGIS infrastructure can access AirWorks deliverables directly through their own environment rather than relying solely on the AirWorks-hosted Project Viewer. Customers without an existing Esri environment can still get the full viewing experience through AirWorks' hosted Project Viewer — no Esri license or setup required on their end.
