AirWorks AI Express Quality Expectations

<IMAGERY NEEDS TO BE UPDATED>

At AirWorks, it is our goal to help our customers deliver quality projects quickly with a cost effective solution. However, there are projects and use cases in which speed is the most important aspect.

When using AirWorks AI Express on your projects, we are providing linework that has been extracted directly from our AI Algorithm with no human Quality Control. As a result, we can provide this deliverable faster, but will require the customer to perform the appropriate level of Quality Control to align to their desired outcomes. For high level planning or specific studies, the direct AI linework will be adequate for the needs of these use cases. If a customer wants to use this direct AI for detailed survey, the customer will need to perform some Quality Control to this deliverable.

There are 2 key components to consider regarding quality

  1. Accuracy: Does the linework align correctly with the specific feature?

    1. Example: Does the linework around the building align with the building edge?

  2. Detection: Are all features of a specific catagory captured?

    1. Example: Does the linework capture all the buildings on the site?

We strive to provide 80% accuracy for the layers of this direct AI deliverable. A lot of factors come into play here, such as quality of imagery, correct projection, collection techniques, and site specific conditions such as tree cover.

While it is impossible to calculate the level of quality on a specific site without having a 100% ground-truth site, we want to provide examples of the different levels of quality.
